This position will be responsible for contributing to a wide variety of communications projects for marketing, business development, project support or strategic initiatives. The ability to interpret message strategies, brainstorm ideas, and collaborate with internal clients and communications team is essential. A candidate should be comfortable being a part of a team from concept through execution.

Requirements:

At least one year of professional design experience required
Bachelors degree in graphic design or equivalent experience

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Strong portfolio required - polished portfolio should demonstrate experience with a variety of media and expert knowledge of design: layout, color theory, typography, etc.
Ability to translate existing brand identities to various types of marketing and business development collateral (i.e. social media graphics, presentations, printed brochures)
Skilled at taking existing content and messaging and translating that into compelling graphic communications media
Ability to coordinate with vendors such as printers and familiarity with preparing print-ready files
Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure with unfailing attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills (verbal + written)
Personality full of Passion, Integrity, and Energy

Software/Abilities:

Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator – portfolio should demonstrate these skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Familiarity with Google Maps
Fluency in a PC environment

Highly Desired Skills:

Experience with creating motion graphics or video in Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere would be a plus
Previous experience in the Architecture, Construction, Engineering industry would be a plus.
