IT Support Specialist

Based in Dallas TX, this member of the Information Technology team will provide technical support to all LandDesign employees ensuring customer service excellence.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, primarily in Windows, along with an array of applications
  • Maintain all laptops/desktops in production with the latest operating system/updates and deploy new hardware when refresh needs present themselves
  • Work through logged IT issues/requests with the end user from opening to closing of the ticket.
  • Utilize outside resources and technicians when necessary to resolve outstanding support calls
  • Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the goal of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible and understanding the need to escalate incidents to other members of the IT team where necessary
  • Documentation - Accurately record, update and document requests as well as creating documentation for both IT processes and applications
  • Provide high-level customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in a professional manner
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years Helpdesk or Client Support experience
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate user needs
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members & co-workers
  • Responsive and pro-active work ethic
