Michelle Heatherly has joined LandDesign as a Business Development Representative for our Orlando office!
With 16+ years of experience in strategic marketing and business development, Michelle has worked with both public and private companies with a strong background in real estate development. Previously, Michelle served as the Director of Strategic Development for Demetree Global, a nationally recognized leader in commercial real estate development in the Florida region. There, she oversaw $300 million in commercial real estate development projects in the pre-development stage, including two large-scale urban mixed use projects in Orlando.
Prior to joining the firm, Michelle was a collaborative partner to LandDesign during her time at Demetree Global, working closing with our team in Orlando on several commercial mixed use developments in Orlando, including the redevelopment of Collegiate Village at the University of Central Florida’s Main Campus.
Michelle has an ardent passion for the growth and economic vitality of her community which shines through her ongoing involvement as a member of the City of Winter Park’s Economic Advisory Board, the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Mead Botanical Garden Board of Trustees. Locally, she participates in an all female development peer group and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute’s Florida chapter.
Michelle’s expertise in public relations and marketing accompanied with her knowledge and enthusiasm for the Florida real estate market, makes her well-suited for growing LandDesign’s Orlando presence.
