Peter Crowley, PLA, ASLA

Peter is a Partner, past President, and founder of our Washington DC office whose ethos as a Landscape Architect is rooted in storytelling, authoring connections between the character of the land and context of the place with a client’s vision. A visionary master planner and design thought leader, Peter’s dedication to creating memorable experiences and development of community through design has influenced LandDesign’s methodology, which seeks to differentiate places by engaging clients and users through unique stories. From regional planning and master planned communities to mixed use and resort destinations, Peter has led multi-disciplinary teams on projects spanning the globe for over 35 years. While the breadth of his experience and achievements is rewarding, Peter finds the most fulfillment in mentoring young designers; sharing stories and lessons from his past, while they inspire him with ideas for the future.
