Andrew Schmidt, PLA joined the firm in 2020 and brought with him a robust hospitality portfolio that spans the globe. He has intentionally sought out new client relationships and project opportunities that have opened doors for LandDesign from the Caribbean to the Middle East. With an affinity for complex projects, Andrew leverages LandDesign’s in-house planners, designers, engineers, and horticulturists to bring our client’s vision to life. As a Principal, Andrew will continue to champion the firm’s growth in the hospitality and international markets and lead a team dedicated to servicing high caliber clients and projects across the globe.

Joining the firm in 2020, Kenton Miersma, PLA has been an integral part of growing our master planned community portfolio in the Southwest region. Working with the nation’s leading community developers, including The Howard Hughes Corporation and Hillwood Communities, he leverages his expertise in residential development and knowledge of market trends to deliver resilient and forward-thinking communities. As a Principal, Kenton will continue to grow a master planning team focused on bringing an elevated lifestyle to community planning and design.

Andrea Crossett, ISA has spent most of her career working in multi-disciplined firms, affording her an understanding of the value of integrating planning, design, and engineering services to deliver better solutions. Since returning to LandDesign in 2020, she has leveraged her extensive land planning and entitlement experience to support the expansion of the firm as a fully-integrated landscape architecture and civil engineering firm in the DMV region. As a Director, Andrea will work across studios to reinforce the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration in elevating our ability to service our local clients and projects.
