John Merritt, PLA

John is a Senior Designer with more than two decades of experience translating design concepts into thoughtful, buildable landscapes. Specializing in constructability reviews, custom detailing, and quality assurance, he brings a technical perspective to adaptive reuse, rooftop construction, green stormwater infrastructure, and urban design, helping projects move confidently from design to construction. Outside the office, he enjoys vintage film photography and has even spent time in the custom fabrication industry creating props for magazine ads, television commercials, and feature films.
