Serinda Chek

Serinda is a Designer with a passion for creating sustainable, multi-use communities that bring people together. A self-proclaimed fan of all things "blue and green," she is especially interested in stormwater management, wastewater treatment, green infrastructure, and stream restoration. She enjoys collaborating with others to find practical ways to connect natural systems with the built environment. She is proud to have helped design a wastewater collection and treatment system for a low-income community in Costa Rica, where her team presented their solution on a national stage. Outside of work, Serinda enjoys working out, playing video games, and planning future travels—with a return trip to Japan at the top of her list!
