At LandDesign, promotions are more than professional milestones. They recognize how our people advance the quality of our work, the strength of our culture, and the future we’re building as the firm grows. We’re proud to announce the promotion of three new Directors in our Orlando office, Carrie Read, PLA, Jason Rostek, PE, and Jimmy Monica, PE.
These promotions celebrate individuals whose leadership and commitment to Better Always shape how we mentor the next generation, deliver a high-quality client experience, and position LandDesign for success in new markets. LandDesign President Rhett Crocker says, “These promotions reflect the trust we place in our people and the leadership they bring to their offices. They are a testament to the impact each of them has made, while staying grounded in the values that define LandDesign.”
Carrie Read, PLA, has been instrumental in growing LandDesign’s public sector and higher education portfolio across Central Florida. Through strong relationships and strategic partnerships, she has supported clients as they advance community-oriented projects, from campus master plans to public parks. With 20 years of professional experience, Carrie leads complex civic projects, such as Trails Crossing Park, that blend green infrastructure and community needs into meaningful public spaces. As Director, Carrie will continue leading a studio of landscape architects dedicated to public and campus projects, with a strong commitment to client experience and design excellence.
Jason Rostek, PE, has played a key role in strengthening LandDesign’s civil engineering practice in our Orlando office, growing a team that supports the delivery of public and private land development projects. With two decades of experience navigating the region’s development process, Jason serves as a trusted resource to clients, bringing clarity to complex infrastructure challenges and guiding projects through regulatory hurdles. As Director, Jason will continue to provide technical leadership that elevates our local practice and drives consistent, high-quality project delivery.
Jimmy Monica, PE, has supported the growth of LandDesign’s global hospitality and themed entertainment practice, drawing on two decades of professional experience and an international perspective. Working with leading brands such as Universal Studios and Royal Caribbean, Jimmy leads teams that understand the nuances of delivering projects within highly defined brand standards, balancing design excellence, operational requirements, and disciplined project management. As Director, he will continue guiding civil engineering teams through complex infrastructure challenges for hotels, resorts, and attractions worldwide.
