LandDesign Welcomes Jack Scanlon, PE as Director of Civil Engineering in Washington DC

Jack Scanlon, PE has joined LandDesign as a Director of Civil Engineering in the firm’s DC region office, bringing with him public and private land development experience. Beginning his career in Fairfax, VA, Jack learned the region’s complex development processes and real estate dynamics. He partnered with homebuilders, developers, land use attorneys, and the public sector to manage land assemblages and deliver commercial, residential, institutional, and infrastructure improvement projects across the region.

Jack plays a valuable role in bolstering our in-house services and expanding our local civil engineering expertise to create value for our clients.

As a Director, Jack will support the growth of a local civil engineering practice dedicated to land development across the DMV region. His experience leading an engineering practice, expertise in large-scale land assemblages, and knowledge of the local development environment will strengthen LandDesign’s ability to help our client’s solve complex challenges. In this new role Jack is eager to collaborate with planning, urban design, landscape architecture, and civil engineering experts from across the firm and reinforce the value of our interdisciplinary approach to the local market.
