LandDesign Welcomes New Leaders in Dallas, Boulder, and Orlando

We are excited to announce that Leah Hales, PLA, Julie Meenan Eck, PLA, and Jim Monica, PE have joined LandDesign as senior leaders at the firm. Across our five offices, we are experiencing high growth, which has created the need for additional leadership that brings new expertise, perspective, and relationships. Each of these individuals will champion the advancement of the LandDesign brand in their respective markets—mentoring local teams, managing projects, and growing client relationships. Leah Hales, PLA has joined LandDesign as a Director in our Dallas office. Leah will broaden our reach into new markets, leveraging her diverse portfolio and client relationships to explore new sectors both locally and internationally. LandDesign’s Heth Kendrick, PLA, Managing Partner of our Dallas office says, “as a fully-integrated member of our local leadership team, Leah will help catalyze the office’s expansion into new markets and be a valuable mentor to LandDesigners across the firm.” At LandDesign, Leah will channel her passion for creating exceptional places that authentically respond to the unique needs of the land—a foundational principle of our methodology.

Julie Meenan Eck, PLA has joined LandDesign as a Director in our Boulder office. Julie will bolster our local efforts to grow the LandDesign brand across the mountain region and expand our planning and landscape architecture services into new markets. LandDesign’s Brent Martin, PLA, Managing Partner of our Boulder office says, “the combination of Julie’s community-oriented perspective and technical design expertise makes her a valuable resource to our growing office.” At LandDesign, Julie is joining a team of like-minded professionals who create places that matter in the Denver region.

Jim Monica, PE has joined LandDesign as a Studio Leader in our Orlando office. Jim will manage and mentor a team of civil engineers, lending his technical expertise and local relationships to deliver solutions that add value to our clients’ projects. LandDesign’s Brian Forster, PE, Principal in our Orlando office says, “Jim and I started our careers together and when the opportunity came about for him to join LandDesign, it was an easy decision.” At LandDesign, Jim will leverage his experience and relationships in the hospitality industry to expand our reach domestically and internationally.
